Just had lots of fun working on this mixed media portrait. I took risks and allow myself to experiment freely. I used: charcoal, watercolor, acrylic mat medium, graphite pencil, pastel, and colored paper.

I really love this mixed media painting. There is an elegant simplicity in this artwork that adds to the character of the model's face and her wardrobe that drapes her body in the pose. I admire the perfect restrained use of the orange color.
